A word on Fitness
"There is an avalanche of conflicting and confusing information on fitness, nutrition and fitness gadgets "that will supposedly chisel your body into that of a model.

The truth of the matter is that such information is not new, well the gadgets are. But the information has been rammed up into our brains by our grandmothers for ages:
“eat your vegetables”,
"do not eat too fast - what are you in a hurry for?”,
"run to the shop quickly” and
"be back here, pronto”.
This means that eating vegetables and other healthy foods, eating them slowly as well as doing some physical activity, like running, are beneficial for our overall health, fitness and well-being.

But now the question we all need to ask ourselves is, "why are chronic illnesses escalating, regardless of all the abundant knowledge that we have?"

My answer has always been this.  Most of us are unable to manage our emotional- and mental well-being. Healthy eating and a tailor-made exercise programme, will only take you so far.

To consciously commit to a 10-30 minutes daily exercise routine, eat in moderation, regardless of what is going on in our lives and no matter where we are, requires a strong sense of self-management.  This include a strong sense of emotional- and mental well-being management.

Know and celebrate yourself, your strengths, know your weaknesses, your spoilers, the things that sabotage you and commit to a healthy you."
